James D. Goudge, CEO & Chairman, Broadway Bank

CEO & Chairman

A graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, Goudge worked for the National Bank of Commerce, Allied American Bank, and Kelly Field National Bank, prior to joining Broadway Bank as Lending Division Manager in 1989. He was named President/CEO in 1998 and promoted to CEO/Chairman in 2001.

Goudge serves on the Board of Directors of the Alamo Public Telecommunications Council (KLRN) where he is also on the Executive and Finance Committees. He was Chairman of the Government Relations Council of the Texas Bankers Association for 2005-2006. He was recently appointed to serve as a member of the Federal Advisory Council to represent the 11th Federal Reserve District. He is on the Board of Directors of the United Way and also on its Executive Committee.

Joe C. McKinney, Vice Chairman, Broadway Bank

As Vice Chairman of the Board since October 2002, McKinney focuses on business development for the Commercial Lending and Private Bank Divisions. McKinney retired in March 2002 as Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase Bank (formerly Chase Manhattan Bank and Texas Commerce Bank) – San Antonio Region with over 28 years of banking experience.

He holds a degree in Economics from Harvard University and a MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is former Chairman of the San Antonio Economic and Development Foundation and Executive Committee and serves on the boards of the Cancer Therapy and Research Center, the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research, the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, and Texas Lutheran University.

Prior to joining Eisenhower in 1996, Oveland was President and CEO of Kelly Field National Bank and prior to that was with San Pedro Bank and National Bank of Commerce. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M Kingsville and is a graduate of both the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and the National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma.

With over 36 years of banking experience, Oveland is also associated with various military-related organizations. He is currently a Director and past Chairman from 2004-2006 of the Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA) and Director of the Armed Forces Financial Network (AFFN). He is currently Chairman of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce’s Military Affairs Committee, is Director of the Chamber’s Economic Development Committee and is a member of the Chamber’s Military Transformation Task Force. He has also served as a Director of the Texas Bankers Association and the Independent Bankers Association of Texas.
