- please check with your current employer before submitting this form. Many companies have their own direct deposit form.
-If you're a Department of Defense military or a civilian employee it may be faster to change your direct deposit information on the DFAS website.
3. Close your old account
- After all of your automatic transactions have been switched and all of your outstanding checks have cleared, please use the Account Closing Letter on this page to notify your old bank to close your account and to send you a check for the balance.
